Support That Makes a Difference

ASH Original Program

Empowering Parents to Retake Control of their Children

The ASH Program is for any guardian who is struggling with their youth’s non-compliance, defiant or problematic behaviors at home, is worried about their youth’s functioning at school, mental illness, severe anxiety, issues with law enforcement or the juvenile justice system. This program benefits guardians because it informs, encourages and helps guardians take back control of their family. The goal is to educate guardians to become problem solvers with the opportunity to learn how to be responsive rather than reactive.  This program also teaches parents about ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) which has been proven to lead to chronic disease and mental health issues into adulthood and across generational lifespans.

 ASH for Shared Parenting

Co-parenting in a Healthy Way

This program provides trauma-informed information for specific co-parenting needs, recognizing divorce can harm youth, but it doesn’t have to.  It targets issues of shared parenting dysfunction & discord, conflicted parental separation, adversarial separations, divorces or continued motions/changes of custody.  Parents hear trauma-informed information needed to co-parent in an appropriate and healthy way along with issues that affect shared parenting and how to support positive post-divorce adjustment and resilience after divorce, for co-parents and their youth.
