Meet Our Trauma Certified Counselors

Dr. Lisa Albuja

PhD, MS, LPC, CCTP, CYTP, CFTP, TA, 

Doctorate Specialization in Trauma & Disaster Relief

Lisa holds a PhD in the Philosophy of Psychology with a Specialization in Trauma and Disaster Relief, a Master of Science degree from the University of Arkansas in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and completed post graduate work at UALR, becoming Certified in Conflict Resolution. Lisa also trained through Stanford University to become an Empowered Relief TM Certified Instructor. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Youth Trauma Professional (CYTP) and a Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP). She holds two State Board Specializations: Trauma with Endorsements and Technology Assisted (TA). She also holds several certifications and training in: Neurobiology for Mental Health Professionals, Trauma & Attachment, Certification in Anger Management Training, EMDR training and Internal Family Systems. She often speaks locally to stakeholders and parents on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and Intergenerational Transmission of Trauma (ITT). Lisa developed the ASH Program and the ASH Program for Shared Parenting. She was awarded the 2016 ARBEST Clinician of the Year and has also authored a book entitled, The Relocation of Life. In 2022, Lisa completed a Qualitative Case Study entitled, A Case Study on the Efficacy of a Parent Intervention Program called the ASH (Accountability Starts Here) Program on High-Risk Families.

Pablo Albuja

MS, LPC, CCTP, Advanced Training  TF-CBT, Trained EMDR, TA, Certified Empower Relief and Anger Management

Pablo holds a Master of Science degree from John Brown University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  He is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and has Advanced Training in TF-CBT, and trained in EMDR.  He also holds two state board specializations: Trauma and Technology Assisted (TA).  In addition, he has a certification in Anger Management and Empower Relief to teach evidence-based pain self management skills in an effort to decrease pain medicine.

Pablo is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Gary Greenwood

MS, LPC, NCC, CCTP

Gary holds a Master of Science degree from Northeastern State University in Psychotherapy in Mental Health Counseling. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. He also is a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. Gary has worked in community mental health centers for many years. He has a broad level of expertise and understanding in multiple forms of mental health issues. He carries a personal interest in the individuals he sees. He views his participation in his clinical practice as a most serious responsibility. His ultimate goal in his therapy sessions is to provide each participant an opportunity to improve the overall quality and functioning of their lives.

Tammy Biggs

MS, LPC, TF-CBT

Tammy holds dual master’s degrees in counseling for Marriage and Family therapy and Clinical Mental Health. She is certified in CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy) and CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management). She has advanced training in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and training in Disorders for Infancy to Early Childhood. Tammy works with all age groups assisting with mental, emotional and behavioral issues that are disrupting their daily functions.

Brittany Sullivan

LPC

Brittany is a dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to helping clients reach their goals in a supportive and compassionate environment. With extensive experience working with children and adolescents, she also enjoys providing care to adults. Her practice is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she has worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, conduct disorder, and grief. Brittany believes in meeting clients where they are and feels honored to support each unique journey toward healing and growth.

Catherine Owen

MS, LAC

"Catherine is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Rhodes College. She is committed to creating a warm, affirming therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, valued, and empowered to explore their own path toward healing and self-discovery.

Catherine’s approach is compassion-focused and client-centered. She has experience working with a wide range of issues and populations, including neurodivergence, chronic illness, relational challenges, trauma (including religious trauma), women’s issues, identity concerns, anxiety, depression, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She offers therapy to individuals ages 13 and older.

Outside of the therapy space, Catherine is passionate about advocating for the rights of marginalized groups and actively contributing to the well-being of her community."
